Telnet

Today I learnt how to telnet to the Deakin Library's database computer. I have to admit it was interesting and was the first time i had ever used telnet. It did remind me of those old computer programs i had used as a kid. I found the star wars one to be boring after the first 30seconds. It was very clever though i stopped watching after 2 minutes as i am not a huge star wars fan.

Although I am new to blogging, here are my top five tips:
1. Know that anyone with an internet connection can view it

3. Keep the layout simple and clean

Net 11 Experiences

Well today i have just scratched the surface of the course and in the process, have posted a couple of replies on the BB Discusion Board. I have also learnt how to use the email (which was pretty straightforward) and I have created my first Blog ever! Therefore, this is my first blog entry.
At the moment, I am finding this online study to be a little daunting, however the more i learn about the process, the more familiar things become and i find i want to learn more. It is a challenge but it is also like a fun puzzle. I have taken some notes on referencing however i have not completed the first quiz yet, so that will be next on my list and i will try to do that tonight!
